Sarracenia purpurea
This plant is Sarracenia purpurea var.
purpurea. I think that there are several varieties of this one. This is a
northern variety, it can be found between New Jersey USA and Labrador
Canada. The leaves grow between 10cm - 20cm, the flower stalk grows
between 30cm - 40cm tall. It likes
half shade or full sun and high humidity. It can withstand frost and high
temperatures.
